The person behind Eagle Eye Mobile Notary
Meet Dina
A personal commitment to preparation, professionalism and service when the details matter.

My name is Dina Mahshi-McWashington. My family proudly calls Woodland home, where we have built a life rooted in community, faith, and service.
Professionally, I spent 25 years in corporate America as a communications manager, supporting some of the nation’s most recognized Fortune 500 companies. While I truly enjoyed the strategic and creative challenges of that career, I came to realize I couldn’t see myself retiring in that role. I wanted my work to have a deeper, more direct impact on everyday lives.
That desire was deeply personal.
In 1994, my only brother was involved in a devastating accident right here in Woodland. He was 21 years old and ended up on life support. I will never forget the moment when a nurse asked my parents whether he had a Medical Directive in place or if he had given them Power of Attorney to make decisions on his behalf.
My parents were completely blindsided. Like many families, they had never even considered preparing for such a moment.
Tragically, my brother passed away, and that experience has stayed with me ever since.
Over the years, I have shared my family’s story to help others understand the importance of advance planning. In 2023, I decided to take that commitment a step further and became a commissioned California Notary Public.
Today, estate-planning notarizations are not only an important part of my work as a Notary but also the driving force. I am especially passionate about encouraging families—including parents of young adults turning 18—to have important conversations about Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, and other planning documents before an emergency occurs.
As a California Notary Public, I do not select or prepare legal documents or provide legal advice. My role begins once a signer has the documents they need and requires a notarial act. I bring professionalism, preparation, attention to detail, and respect for California notarial law to that appointment.
My mission is rooted in helping other families be better prepared than mine was for an unexpected crisis.
This is more than a profession to me. It’s personal.
