How the appointment is coordinated
Before the signing
Appointment details are confirmed with the signer and hiring party, including location, signer names, identification requirements, document delivery, special instructions and any required scanbacks or shipping arrangements.
During the signing
The signing agent guides the signer through the loan package according to hiring-party instructions, identifies required signatures, dates and initials, completes applicable notarial acts, and helps ensure the package is executed completely and accurately.
After the signing
The completed package is reviewed for missed signatures, dates, initials and notarial requirements. When requested, scanbacks are completed before the original documents are returned using the hiring party’s designated delivery method.
A Notary Signing Agent does not interpret loan terms, provide financial or legal advice, or make decisions about the transaction. Questions regarding loan terms, figures or transaction-specific matters are referred to the lender, title company, escrow officer or other appropriate professional.

Loan signing questions
What should I bring to the signing?
Bring acceptable current identification and any items requested by your lender, title company, escrow team or hiring party. Confirm transaction-specific requirements with them before the appointment.
Can the signing agent explain my loan terms?
No. Questions about rates, fees, documents or transaction terms must be directed to the lender, title company, escrow officer or another appropriate professional.
How long does a loan signing take?
Appointment length varies with the package, number of signers and questions that must be referred to the appropriate party. Ask the hiring or document-providing party about the expected package size; no exact duration is guaranteed.
Do you provide scanbacks?
Yes. Scanbacks can be completed when required by the hiring party. Completed documents are returned according to the instructions provided for the assignment.
Do you work directly with title and escrow companies?
Yes. Eagle Eye Mobile Notary accepts assignments from title companies, escrow officers, lenders, signing services and other authorized hiring parties, subject to availability and assignment requirements.
